Improper Photography or Visual Recording, Probation Violation, Fail to Register as Sex Offender, Flight to Avoid Prosecution, Possession of Child Pornography
Mark BAUMAN has been arrested many times on various offenses, including Alien Smuggling, Theft, Bad Check Issuance, and Sexual Assault of a Child. The last arrest stemmed from a 2002 incident in which he sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl over six months. In January 2007, a woman from Guadalajara, Mexico, accused BAUMAN of videotaping her two daughters as they undressed. One of the children later accused BAUMAN of inappropriately touching her.
In March 2007, BAUMAN’s parole officer reported that he had gone missing. Local authorities subsequently issued arrest warrants for Possession of Child Pornography, Improper Photography or Visual Recording, Fail to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements, and Probation Violation (original offense: Sexual Assault of a Child). In May 2007, the US Marshals issued an arrest warrant for Flight to Avoid Prosecution. In December 2010, the US Marshals issued an additional arrest warrant for Fail to Register as a Sex Offender.
BAUMAN has met many women through Spanish-speaking matchmaking web sites, including his third wife, who he met through the FriendFinder web site. He was last spotted in the Austin, Texas area in the summer of 2010. He speaks Spanish fluently and reportedly has strong ties to Mexican and Central American immigrant communities in the Austin area. He has a valid US passport and is believed to be in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, or Colombia.

I am in Olympia WA at 410 Capitol Way N. This man may be here disguised as a female. He frequently brings children into our building and I do not know what happens to them. Sometimes I hear them crying. This man wears a dark-haired wig which is short and fluffy. 2 days ago he was down in the community center room on the 1st floor taking down leaf decorations around the ceiling or upper wall. I asked him “How are your children?” He said he did not have any children, then he said: “Oh, you mean my grandchildren.” Then walked out the door. He is about 5’6″ tall to 5’7″ tall. I believe I may have seen him in Buffalo, NY the Sunday before Easter of 2001 with a beautiful, model-type, blue-eyed girl who looked like Eva Marie Gosset or Goss from the Ukraine. He stood a few yards away from me and the little girl ran down to look at me on the computer in the Canisus College Library. I looked right at missing children on Interpol and there she was. Believe she was recovered by a very tall Russsian who was in the College with a gun on Easter – one week later.
