Update: A reward fund to help in the search for a missing Wausau woman is up to $10,000.
Stephanie Low disappeared from her apartment last October.
Her mom says the last year has been tough.
That’s why she sent a letter to a number of businesses in Marathon County asking for their help in finding Stephanie.
And one of them made an anonymous donation for $7,000.
“I actually felt hope, a lot of hope, I mean I also have hope but not to the extreme I have it now, that I have that $10,000,” says Claudia Blake, Stephanie’s mom.
The reward fund was up to just $3,000 with the help of benefits and spaghetti dinners, and a rummage sale.

Where is Stephanie Low?
Reports said Stephanie placed a frantic call to her brother the morning of October 10, 2010, asking him to come her Thomas Street apartment; however, when he arrived she was nowhere to be found.
She had been out with others earlier that night, but when her friends went to her apartment looking for her later, she was gone. She left her two dogs alone without food or water, which friends and relatives say would be very much out of character for her. Read the rest of this entry »
