Mysterious Houston medical student murder brings largest cash reward in CrimeStopper History..
As investigators still search for clues in the bizarre unsolved January 16, 2012 murder of Iranian-born medical student Gelareh Bagherzadeh, Houston Crime Stoppers announced at a recent afternoon press conference it will be offering a $200,000 cash reward — the largest in the national organization’s history.
Five months after the killing at a Galleria-area residential complex, sergeant J.C. Padilla of the Houston Police Department told reporters that the investigation has not turned up a motive for the shooting. Armando Morfin has been missing since March 30, 2012 and his family is now offering a $105,000 dollar reward for his return.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies report Morgin was kidnapped at his La Blanca home on Friday, March 30th.
Three armed men dressed in military-style clothes broke into their home, tied up his family and took him away. They spoke in Spanish and did not otherwise harm the family. Read the rest of this entry »

Two years after Los Angeles attorney Jeffrey Tidus was gunned down outside his Rolling Hills Estates home, a $100,000 reward is now being offered to help detectives solve the mystery.
The L.A. County Board of Supervisors and Tidus’ family offered the reward for information in the December 9, 2009 shooting of the 53-year-old partner with Baute & Tidus outside his Sugarhill Drive home.
Tidus was shot when he went outside to retrieve his laptop computer from the trunk of his car. Tidus and his wife had just returned from their Redondo Beach toy store where they had given a portion of their profits to charity. Read the rest of this entry »

Jacksonville’s (FL) Justice Coalition offered a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of whoever killed stepbrothers John Ragin Jr., 33, and Eric Stubbs, 36, in the former’s Bristol Bay Court home this past June. In the picture Eric is seated and John is on the left with an unidentified family member.
Since they were kids, John Franklin Ragin Jr. and Eric Dwayne Stubbs were nearly inseparable, said Ragin’s mother. Read the rest of this entry »

HARRISBURG, MO — The family of Charles Dwayne Bell, 34, has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts.

Bell was last seen Sept. 15, 2011 driving his red 2009 Ducati motorcycle at the intersection of Dripping Springs Road and Red Rock Road in Boone County, said his father, Charles Bell Sr. Bell had plans to meet friends that afternoon to go hunting. Read the rest of this entry »

First Coast Crime Stoppers and Arby’s Restaurants announced a $6,000 reward for information leading to the suspect who robbed and beat up a 74-year old woman and stole her money.
“Let’s solve this thing,” said Wyllie Hodges, executive director of First Coast Crime Stoppers. “If we don’t, someone else out there, and it could be you, could be the next victim. MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. – As the search for a suspect in the murder of two North Coast men continues, authorities have announced a reward for the suspect’s capture.
The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday that it has been contacted by private citizens as well as the U.S. Marshals’ Service and the Mendocino Land Trust to provide reward funds for information leading to the capture and arrest of 35-year-old Aaron Bassler. On September 10, 2011 Central Florida lost a local favorite music player in their community when an unknown assailant shot and killed Ralph Ameduri Jr. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the 45-year-old was best known as the bass player for The Lengendary JCs and was killed in Winter Haven, Fla. behind Jessie’s Bar on Third Street Northwest.

A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of whomever is responsible for the murder of alleged medical marijuana hauler Philip Victor Williamson, whose body was discovered on March 24, 2011 in an alley in Long Beach, California.
The award was proposed by Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe. Police believe Williamson, 29, reportedly a medicinal cannabis deliveryman, could have had up to $500,000 in cash on him when he died, reports Nick Schou at OC Weekly. Read the rest of this entry »
