UpDate 10-28-12: Authorities have reportedly found a vehicle used by two missing Catawba County, N.C., teenagers under a highway bridge in South Carolina with two bodies inside.
The Charlotte Observer reports that the vehicle was found in marshy water under an Interstate 20 bridge in Kershaw County, S.C., around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Catawba County Sheriff Coy Reid told the newspaper the vehicle’s occupants “ran off the bridge or just in front of the bridge.” He said the bodies hadn’t been positively identified, but that the license plate matched that of the missing car.
Friends of 18-year-old Jake Ziegler and 17-year-old Ray Pierce had told officials the two were heading for Myrtle Beach, S.C., around 1:30 a.m. on Oct 22.
CATAWBA COUNTY, NC – A Belk store sales clerk in South Carolina says she’s sure she sold clothing to two missing teens from Catawba County.
Police are now working to obtain surveillance video from the store on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.
Nearly 100 volunteers showed up in Conway to help with the search last Thursday morning. It was the sixth day of search for Jake Ziegler, 18, and Ray Pierce, 17. Read the rest of this entry »

MINNEAPOLIS — It has been over six months since the shooting that killed a 3-year-old boy in north Minneapolis, but police say they are no closer to finding the person who fired the fatal shot.
Terrell Mayes Jr. died after a bullet broke through a wall in his home and hit him the head last December. At the time he was shot, Mayes and his brother were running upstairs to hide. Investigators say they believe the bullet came from a nearby alley. The bullet penetrated the wall of the home before striking Terrell. He died the next day. Read the rest of this entry »

5-14-12 Update: BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. Charges have been filed against a St. Louis, Mo., man arrested in connection with a triple murder last month at a Brooklyn Park day care, and the criminal complaint says the violence is not the first crime he committed against the family.
On Monday, Brooklyn Park police identified the suspect as 34-year-old Eddie Matthew Mosley, who has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder.
DeLois Brown, 59, and her parents — 81-year-old Clover Bolden and 82-year-old James Bolden — were found fatally shot inside their home on College Park Drive the morning of April 9.
Police are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can help find the person or people responsible for the deaths of three adults in Brooklyn Park, MN Monday, April 9, 2012.
An adult woman and her two parents were found dead inside a home-based daycare at 8117 College Park Drive around 6:30 a.m. Monday. Though police have yet to release their names, family members identified the dead as daycare operator and owner of the house, 59-year-old DeLois Brown, and her parents James and Clover Bolden. A $50,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for the murder of Barbara Paciotti.
Paciotti, 20, was last seen with her boyfriend, Jeff Dolinich, in the early morning hours of June 14, 1969 in Hibbing, MN. She had been out with a friend during the evening of June 13. She and her friend were driving downtown at about 1:45 a.m., and the two stopped in traffic to speak to another friend when Dolinich approached the car and asked Paciotti if she would come with him so he could speak with her. The Brooklyn Park MN Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the shooting death of Marquise Woodbury on Sunday, May 1, 2010
Woodbury, 17, was shot after leaving a party with friends along Xerxes Avenue North. Witnesses said, a group, who was not at the party, started an argument and fired three shots toward a crowd across the street. One of the shots hit Woodbury in the chest.
