$50,000 COLD CASE Reward

A $50,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for the murder of Barbara Paciotti.
Paciotti, 20, was last seen with her boyfriend, Jeff Dolinich, in the early morning hours of June 14, 1969 in Hibbing, MN. She had been out with a friend during the evening of June 13. She and her friend were driving downtown at about 1:45 a.m., and the two stopped in traffic to speak to another friend when Dolinich approached the car and asked Paciotti if she would come with him so he could speak with her. The Brooklyn Park MN Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the shooting death of Marquise Woodbury on Sunday, May 1, 2010
Woodbury, 17, was shot after leaving a party with friends along Xerxes Avenue North. Witnesses said, a group, who was not at the party, started an argument and fired three shots toward a crowd across the street. One of the shots hit Woodbury in the chest. The Carlton County Sheriff’s office has what they believe to be a key piece of evidence that may help lead to the killer or killers of Tom Holm and Kim Schmitz, who were killed in their home on January 9, 2011.
The sheriff’s office says the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office determined that a gunshot wound was the cause of death for both 53-year-old Kim Schmitz and her longtime boyfriend, Thomas Holm, also 53. Read the rest of this entry »

An additional reward is being offered for information in the St. Paul killing of Danny Wright, whom a man intentionally struck with a car five months ago today, police said this morning.
The reward now stands at $4,000.
The St. Paul Police Foundation initially offered a $1,500 reward and has now doubled it to $3,000. Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000. The reward is for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the driver. Read the rest of this entry »

Veronica Safranski, a 40-year-old Argyle, Minn., woman known as “Voni” did fall off the face of the earth in the early hours of Oct. 27, 1996. Dressed in a Pocahontas costume from a Halloween party she attended earlier, she was last seen at Mick’s Bar and Grill in neighboring Warren. She was out with a friend who indicates she last saw Voni at approximatlely 12:30am. The friend had gone to the restroom and states when she returned she could not locate Voni. Peter Achermann was last seen at Ernie’s Market in Staples buying groceries at about 11:55 A.M. on July 24, 2009. He never returned home. His car was found abandoned on a minimum maintenance road on Saturday July 25th. Since then, family members, hundreds of volunteers, the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, the Minnesota National Guard, search divers, mounted posses, over 30 K9 search dogs, and investigators with cadaver dogs have found no trace of Peter. Saturday, June 30, 2010, marked the 23th anniversary of the kidnapping and brutal slaying of Anita Carlson. Anita Carlson, a 22-year-old Bemidji State University student, was working the late shift at Pete’s Place, gas station/convenience store, West of Bemidji on Highway 2, on the evening of June 30, 1987. Up to $150,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for the murder of Kevin Brewer.
Kevin Brewer, 11, was murdered just after 10 p.m. on August 3rd, 2000 near Cottage Park in North Minneapolis. Brewer, who was shot three times, was with a friend when they stopped to watch a fight among men who were gambling near Cottage Park. Approximately 100 people were present when the incident occurred, however past rewards have not yielded a break in the case.
Please bring closure to the family and friends of Kevin Brewer, and bring his killer to justice.

Minneapolis Police are taking a fresh look at the unsolved murder of Cindy Gerdes, who was stabbed in her Uptown apartment in 1984.
