DALLAS – A routine mail route came to a gruesome end for one Dallas-area mail carrier, when he found the decapitated body of a woman lying in the street on April 26, 2010. Police identified her as Maria Corona, and said they believe her husband, Jose Fernando Corona, is responsible, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Responding officers from the Lewisville Police Department reported finding two chainsaws at the scene, one of which was still running, with blood and tissue matter nearby. A bloody trail led from Corona’s headless body to the doorway of the home. Read the rest of this entry »

Mysterious Houston medical student murder brings largest cash reward in CrimeStopper History..
As investigators still search for clues in the bizarre unsolved January 16, 2012 murder of Iranian-born medical student Gelareh Bagherzadeh, Houston Crime Stoppers announced at a recent afternoon press conference it will be offering a $200,000 cash reward — the largest in the national organization’s history.
Five months after the killing at a Galleria-area residential complex, sergeant J.C. Padilla of the Houston Police Department told reporters that the investigation has not turned up a motive for the shooting. Police say they haven’t given up on identifying the person who fatally beat and stabbed 65-year-old Donald Williams inside his west Eugene, OR home a little more than six years ago.

First Coast Crime Stoppers and Arby’s Restaurants announced a $6,000 reward for information leading to the suspect who robbed and beat up a 74-year old woman and stole her money.
“Let’s solve this thing,” said Wyllie Hodges, executive director of First Coast Crime Stoppers. “If we don’t, someone else out there, and it could be you, could be the next victim. MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. – As the search for a suspect in the murder of two North Coast men continues, authorities have announced a reward for the suspect’s capture.
The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday that it has been contacted by private citizens as well as the U.S. Marshals’ Service and the Mendocino Land Trust to provide reward funds for information leading to the capture and arrest of 35-year-old Aaron Bassler. On September 10, 2011 Central Florida lost a local favorite music player in their community when an unknown assailant shot and killed Ralph Ameduri Jr. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the 45-year-old was best known as the bass player for The Lengendary JCs and was killed in Winter Haven, Fla. behind Jessie’s Bar on Third Street Northwest.

A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of whomever is responsible for the murder of alleged medical marijuana hauler Philip Victor Williamson, whose body was discovered on March 24, 2011 in an alley in Long Beach, California.
The award was proposed by Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe. Police believe Williamson, 29, reportedly a medicinal cannabis deliveryman, could have had up to $500,000 in cash on him when he died, reports Nick Schou at OC Weekly. Read the rest of this entry »

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Portsmouth Police and Fire Departments announced recently that two separate rewards are now being offered for information in connection with the death of an Ashland, KY man.

HILLSBORO (TX) (September 13, 2011)—Dallas Waddell, 46, whose last known address was in Whitney, is one of the state’s most-wanted fugitives, and Tuesday the reward offered for information leading to his arrest was increased to $6,000.
