12-10-12 Update: Two men wanted on charges of molesting a 5-year-old girl in Newton County were arrested in Alachua, Fla. on Sunday.
The Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, led by the U.S. Marshals and several police agencies, orchestrated a manhunt for Donald Mac Brown, 34, and David Wesley Crawford, 57.
Sunday, Newton County authorities were notified by the Alachua Police Department that Brown and Crawford had been caught.
According to Alachua police, Crawford turned himself in via 911 call.

ELDERLY MAN SHOT AND KILLED!
2-13-13 Update: A young man will be tried as an adult–he was 16 years old at the time he’s accused of entering an elderly man’s home on Jefferson River Road and participating in the 76-year-old’s shooting death.
According to a story in the Athens Banner-Herald, a judge made the decision at a hearing this week.
Anthony Jermaine Fuller, now 17, is charged with the Nov. 26, 2012, murder of Edward Davidson.

Authorities recently increased the reward offered in the case of an elderly Athens man murdered during a home invasion last month.

12-8-12 Update: ATLANTA — Authorities have arrested a suspect in the slaying of a local businessman, and they believe he might be linked to other crimes in metro Atlanta.
Ladarius Hardy was arrested Tuesday in the death of Terry Porter, who was robbed, shot and carjacked three weeks ago. Hardy was captured in Conyers by the U.S. Marshall’s task force.
