Bank Robber & Cop Shooter

A reward of up to $20,000 is being offered in exchange for information leading to the arrest of a suspect who shot and wounded a Chino police officer after robbing a bank last February, announced Steven Martinez, assistant director in charge of the FBI in Los Angeles; and Miles Pruitt, chief of police for the Chino Police Department.

On Wednesday, February 29, 2012, the California Bank & Trust on 5455 Riverside Drive in Chino, California, was robbed by a white male, described as 25-40 years old with a stocky build. The suspect was armed with an assault rifle, similar to an AK-47, with a sling and drum magazine. Following the robbery, a police officer patrolling the area came upon the bank robbery suspect, who was fleeing the bank. The suspect fired upon the officer and seriously wounded him. During and following the robbery, the suspect wore body armor over a dark-colored, collared, short-sleeved shirt and blue pants, as well as a ski mask covering his face. M-Bone

Early Monday (May 16, 2011) morning hip-hop fans were stunned by the news that Cali Swag District member M-Bone died Sunday night, the victim of a drive-by shooting.

Bone, born Mante Talbert, was one-fourth of the group that rose to fame with their 2010 single “Teach Me How to Dougie.” Cali Swag frontman C-Smoove tweeted, “Ma life changed drastically in the blink of an eye. rip mbone,” early Monday morning.

Inglewood Police Department Homicide Sgt. Brian Spencer confirmed to MTV News that the 22-year-old Bone died of two gunshot wounds to the head in his hometown of Inglewood, California. Read the rest of this entry »

Victor Bach, 71, was found beaten to death at his Western Plumbing and Heating business on Treat Avenue in San Francisco on Oct. 31, 2003 after his wife called police to say he had not arrived home in San Mateo, CA.

His expensive watch and car keys were left untouched.

Bach was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and was a registered mechanical engineer. He was a partner in Western Plumbing & Heating from 1970 until his murder.. Read the rest of this entry »

Ralph Moore

A man was murdered in his Fairfield, California home 10 years ago and investigators have worked ever since to crack this cold case.

“He was just a wonderful husband,” said the victim’s wife, Martha.

Ralph Moore, age 73, was retired and lived with his wife at their residence located at 1200 Block of Broadway Street in Fairfield. On February 20, 2002, his wife returned from work in the evening and found her husband lying on the floor. It appeared that he had been severely bludgeoned about the head and face. Chris Giauque

$200,000 Reward for Information on Missing Medical Marijuana Advocate, Chris Giauque

On the evening of Saturday August 9, 2003, Chris Giauque went to the Spyrock area and met with a business partner, Ben Lomax, near the Iron Peak lookout point.  This area is north of Laytonville, CA in Mendocino County.  Chris was on probation for cultivation of marijuana and reportedly left his vehicle, a 1994 blue Toyota extra cab pickup truck, at this location as he did not want to be seen in his truck on the property that he, Ben Lomax, and Adrian Vasquez owned at 8500 Simmerly Rd., Covelo.  Reportedly, Ben Lomax gave Chris a ride into and out of the property. Ming and Ying

LOS ANGELES  — Authorities are offering a $125,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed two Chinese graduate students near the University of Southern California Wednesday, April 11, 2012.

Police and USC officials made the announcement Friday in the case of Ming Qu and Ying Wu. The 23-year-old electrical engineering students were shot while sitting in a car in an off-campus neighborhood.

LAPD investigators canvassed the neighborhood interviewing residents, some of whom said they’d heard the gunshots. Fewer said they’d seen a person running from the scene. It was dark and pouring rain at 1 a.m. when the shooting happened. Read the rest of this entry »

MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. – As the search for a suspect in the murder of two North Coast men continues, authorities have announced a reward for the suspect’s capture.

The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday that it has been contacted by private citizens as well as the U.S. Marshals’ Service and the Mendocino Land Trust to provide reward funds for information leading to the capture and arrest of 35-year-old Aaron Bassler. A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of whomever is responsible for the murder of alleged medical marijuana hauler Philip Victor Williamson, whose body was discovered on March 24, 2011 in an alley in Long Beach, California.
The award was proposed by Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe. Police believe Williamson, 29, reportedly a medicinal cannabis deliveryman, could have had up to $500,000 in cash on him when he died, reports Nick Schou at OC Weekly. Read the rest of this entry »

The California governor’s office hopes that a $50,000 reward being offered will be the catalyst to help find the person who killed a 48-year-old Stockton woman over 6 years ago.
Louise DeBarrows was walking her dog at Sandman Park in December 2004 when she was killed. She was beaten, and a nail was plunged into her upper body. She was later thrown into a nearby waterway.

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES — A big reward is now being offered for information leading to whoever killed a 22-year-old nursing student in Sherman Oaks five years ago.

At the time the woman’s boyfriend, David Weir, reportedly confessed to the murder, but then vanished.

“A phone call, whatever can help lead to his capture,” said Ramirez’s sister Elizabeth.
