The reward in the David Grubbs murder case is getting a $10,000 increase.
The Ashland City Council approved the addition to the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction. This newest addition brings the total reward to $21,180.
David Grubbs was on his way home from work Nov. 19, 2011 just a few blocks away from the site of Ashland, Oregon’s world-renowned Shakespeare Festival, where actors in elaborate costumes often parry and thrust in faux swordfights. Read the rest of this entry »

Police say they haven’t given up on identifying the person who fatally beat and stabbed 65-year-old Donald Williams inside his west Eugene, OR home a little more than six years ago.
“It’s recent enough to where it is a solvable case,” said Bob Walker, a retired homicide detective who now counts himself as one of three members of the Eugene Police Department’s “cold case squad.” Read the rest of this entry »

Authorities believe a new $10,000 reward might be enough to get people to talk about the 2004 disappearance of a rural Polk County Oregon man.
‘We think it will entice people,” Polk County Sheriff Bob Wolfe said Monday. His department is joining forces with Oregon State Police and the FBI to look into the case of Glenn Warren Pennie, 56, who is believed to be the victim of foul play.

A reward of up to $20,000 is offering by the FBI for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Farhad Monem. On October 19, 2007, a federal grand jury in Eugene, Oregon returned a twenty-count indictment charging Farhad “Fred” Monem and his wife, Karen Monem with crimes relating to an alleged bribery scheme orchestrated by Fred Monem while working as the Food Services Administrator for the Oregon Department of Corrections. The indictment charges both Monems with conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud, bribery, money laundering, and interstate travel in aid of racketeering. As a Food Services Administrator, Fred Monem was responsible for negotiation and approval of food purchases for prisoners through the “Spot buy program.” The couple together created a bogus corporation, Jamm Inc., to launder bribes from a California wholesale food distributor for state purchases. October 1, 2009 was Barbara Lea Tooley’s 59th birthday, and she was paying her elderly mother a visit.
Barbara had made the trip to see her mother, Helen Berleta Long, in Glendale, Ore. from the Portland area a few hours north.
Cops say that sometime around 6 p.m., a man was observed walking into the residence.
Once inside, authorities say the man shot Barbara in the head with a handgun, killing her. Then, cops say, the suspect proceeded to shoot Helen, also in the head. Read the rest of this entry »

Joseph Mahmoud Dibee is most wanted with up to a $50,000 reward for his arrest. Dibee is wanted for multiple charges related to his alleged involvement in the domestic terrorism cell “The Family.” On January 19, 2006, a federal grand jury in Eugene, Oregon, indicted Joseph Mahmoud Dibee on charges related to his alleged role in the domestic terrorism cell. Dibee was charged with two conspiracy violations related to seventeen incidents and one count of arson. COOS BAY, OR – An Idaho woman has posted a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the death of her son over four years ago in Oregon.
