COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio — The family of Gerald George Klusch has announced a reward of up to $20,000 for reliable new information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for his death.

Klusch, 71, of 37348 U.S. Route 30 disappeared on or about Sept. 29, 2011. His damaged bloody truck was found the next day. Klusch’s body was recovered in a wooded area Nov. 18 near Salineville.

He was last seen alive by his employee Matt Bailey when Klusch dropped Bailey off at his home on Dungannon Road on Sept. 29. Read the rest of this entry »

Billy DisilvestroWilliam Disilvestro, aka Billy, went missing on February 7, 2011 after leaving a friends house on foot in the West Hamilton, OH area. He has seizure disorder and has no medication or cell phone with him. He may be confused or disoriented and not even know who he is. He is 28 years old and has several tattoos. PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Portsmouth Police and Fire Departments announced recently that two separate rewards are now being offered for information in connection with the death of an Ashland, KY man.

On the night of Friday, March 31st 2006; Brian Shaffer, a 27 year old 2nd year medical student at OSU (Ohio State University) went out with friends to have a few drinks and celebrate the beginning of Spring break 2006; it was his ‘time out with the guys’. At around 9:30pm, the men headed to the Ugly Tuna Saloona, a bar located near the OSU campus. At 9:56pm, Brian called Alexis -his girlfriend- who at the time was visiting her family in Toledo, OH. He told her he loved her and that he would see her when she came back to Columbus; the two had planned on taking a vacation to Miami and were scheduled to leave for Florida on Monday, April 3rd. UPDATE Feb., 2012: Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby is offering an additional $25,000 for information leading to the location of a missing Fairfield woman.

Katelyn Markham, who was 22 when she went missing, was last seen by her fiancee the night of August 13, 2011. When he didn’t hear from her the next day, he reported her missing.

There was already a $25,000 reward in place for any information. With the addition of Ruby’s money, the reward is now $50,000.

Ruby has put up rewards for missing persons in the past. “Well money talks,” he explained. “I put up about 10-12 rewards for murderers and only one of the victims was somebody I knew it was a dishwasher of mine. For $5,000, They found the guy the next day.”

FAIRFIELD, OHIO – A reward for information about the disappearance of Katelyn Markham jumped to $25,000 as the missing art student’s family invited a Texas search and recovery team to help coordinate the hunt for her.

Officials with Crime Stoppers said relatives and friends of Markham added $20,000 in reward money to the $5,000 from an anonymous contributor.

She was last heard from on August 13, 2011. She’d spent the evening with her fiance, John Carter. Later that night, when she was back at the townhome she shared with her father in Fairfield, Ohio, she texted John a photo at 12:52 a.m. Read the rest of this entry »

McCONNELSVILLE, Ohio — The reward for information in an April fire that killed eight horses and is being investigated as a hate crime was increased.

Ohio Mutual Insurance Group announced it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identification and conviction of the person who intentionally set fire to a Morgan County barn on April 24, 2011.

MENTOR-ON-THE-LAKE, Ohio — Mentor-on-the-Lake Police and CrimeStoppers are offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed bartender Ann “Annie” McSween in the early hours after Thanskgiving, 2010.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers has increased the reward from $12,000 to $100,000.

Crime Stoppers said the reward will be paid to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of person(s) involved in Luzio’s disappearance.

Anthony Luzio was last seen at approximately 4:00 a.m. on July 4, 2005, leaving a party at an acquaintance’s residence in the vicinity of the 4000 block of Bayhill Drive, near Rutherford Road, in Powell, Ohio. The reward has doubled in the case of a young couple murdered on January 31, 2011. Twenty-one-year-old Johnny Clarke and 20 year-old Lisa Straub were found dead in her parents’ home in Springfield Township, OH, with wrists bound and plastic bags over their heads.
As the reward money grows to $15,000, Straub’s family is revealing what they believe happened that tragic morning.
