It’s been almost 18 months since a 19-year-old Carter County (KY) teenager went missing. Dillon “Nemo” Bryant’s body was found about a month later in an Elliott County pond. He had been shot in the head.

11-29-12 Update: A reward expires Thursday for information leading to an arrest in the homicide of a Florence couple last year, but authorities said the investigation has taken another turn.

August 29 Update – Doug Stephenson and his family were able to raise the $100,000 for the reward for information leading to an arrest of his parents. The reward is good until Nov. 30.
The DNA also does not match that of the Stephenson’s nephew, Charles “Steve” Stephenson” who is charged in Indiana with killing his 67-year-old friend.
(Florence, Ky.) – New information may soon be released in the investigation into a Florence couple’s murder.

2-22-12 Update: MAGOFFIN COUNTY, Ky. — A year after a missing man’s body was found, his autopsy results have come back, but do not give his family closure.
Jerry Rowe, Jr., went missing in January 2011. His body was found nearly five months later in the Licking River, just a few miles from where Rowe lived.
Rowe’s body was sent to Frankfort for an autopsy and the results were recently released.
“The autopsy came back it was positively identified, the remains were, but cause of death was undetermined,” Magoffin County Coroner Mark Jenkins said.

Jerry Rowe, Jr., 26, was last seen in Magoffin County, Kentucky on the afternoon of January 29, 2011 at a trailer he shared with a roommate. According to the roommate, they saw flashlights in the driveway, became frightened, and ran. The roommate said he went one way and Rowe went another. He has not been seen or heard from since. BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — More than a year after a Western Kentucky University professor was found stabbed to death, family and friends have doubled the reward for information hoping to solve the murder.
Martha “Bettina” Richmond, a 51-year-old math teacher, was found November 22, 2009 in her van in a Bowling Green gym parking lot.
Richmond, 51, was found slain in the front seat of her van, a tan Honda Odyssey, on Nov. 22 in the parking lot of the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation building at 225 Third Ave.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It’s a mystery that’s haunted a Bardstown woman for more than a decade.
Her 23-year-old daughter vanished without a trace. Now a $10,000 reward is being offered in the cold case.
Melissa Sloan disappeared in 1994, just a few years after her father was kidnapped and murdered. Sloan was 23 years old.
