Jerry Rowe, Jr., 26, was last seen in Magoffin County, Kentucky on the afternoon of January 29, 2011 at a trailer he shared with a roommate. BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — More than a year after a Western Kentucky University professor was found stabbed to death, family and friends have doubled the reward for information hoping to solve the murder.
Martha “Bettina” Richmond, a 51-year-old math teacher, was found November 22, 2009 in her van in a Bowling Green gym parking lot.
Richmond, 51, was found slain in the front seat of her van, a tan Honda Odyssey, on Nov. 22 in the parking lot of the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation building at 225 Third Ave.

Her 23-year-old daughter vanished without a trace. Now a $10,000 reward is being offered in the cold case.
Melissa Sloan disappeared in 1994, just a few years after her father was kidnapped and murdered. Sloan was 23 years old.
