Update: December 5, 2012 – The man suspected of firing at Idaho State Police and then abducting a Rathdrum, Idaho, woman has been captured in Bismarck, N.D., authorities confirmed today. Mitchell Lee Walck, 57, had eluded authorities since late Friday night, but he was apprehended around 10 a.m. inside a mobile home park.

Update January 16, 2013: An increased reward of up to $100,000 (previous reward was $50,000) is being offered in exchange for information leading to the arrest of a suspect who shot and wounded a Chino Police officer after robbing a bank last year and who has since been linked to additional bank robberies in other states
The FBI in Salt Lake City is looking for a man who robbed an Idaho credit union and may be responsible for other robberies in California and Washington.
Known as the “AK-47 Bandit,” the man robbed the East Idaho Credit Union in Rexberg on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. During that robbery, the masked gunman used an assault rifle, ordered customers and employees into a vault, then stole cash. No one was injured. Read the rest of this entry »

JOSEPH, CO — A Wallowa County native’s disappearance during the Chief Joseph Days celebration here last month has left his friends and family anguished and authorities mystified.

 The Boise County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho City Police need the public’s help finding a man last seen three days after Christmas, 2007.
It was Steve Kalogerakos’ mother and sister from Chicago who reported him missing after they hadn’t heard from him in a week.

 TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Twin Falls Police are searching for an armed and masked man who robbed the First Federal Savings Bank at 110 Falls Avenue on January 27, 2011.
Police say the suspect, described as a white man with a thin build, robbed the bank around 12:30 p.m. He wore a mask and displayed a handgun during the robbery, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Read the rest of this entry »

 BOISE — Federal and state law enforcement officers announced that a $5,000 reward is being offered for information that will help them find who is responsible for setting fire to two police cars in Hailey last month.
