Both men were shot in the chest by someone in a white four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan Maxima. Police say the car pulled up alongside the two men as they walked on Edwards Street after they had left a pizza restaurant.
The shootings occurred about 3:15 a.m. Aug. 25, 2008. Rovella said police have been investigating ever since.

On the Saturday of Labor Day weekend 1984, a tired juvenile officer threaded an incident report through his typewriter in the Greenwich, Connecticut, police department and pecked out a bare bones description of the case that had kept him occupied all night.
