4-26-13 Update: Ralph Perez Martinez was watching television with his ex-wife when a news report mentioned a $10,000 reward for information about a Indiana businesswoman found shot to death at the Majestic Star Casino.
“Is that all I’m worth?” he said, according to authorities. The next day, the ex-wife called police and turned him in for the murder of Mary C. Austgen, 76, in March. Martinez, 57, was charged with murder, robbery and criminal confinement.

GRIFFITH, IN | The son of a homicide victim made an emotional plea recently for the public to provide more information about the kidnapping and slaying of his mother.
“Someone out there knows who did this,” Jeff Austgen said in a news conference at the Griffith Police Department.
