The reward in the David Grubbs murder case is getting a $10,000 increase.
The Ashland City Council approved the addition to the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction. This newest addition brings the total reward to $21,180.
David Grubbs was on his way home from work Nov. 19, 2011 just a few blocks away from the site of Ashland, Oregon’s world-renowned Shakespeare Festival, where actors in elaborate costumes often parry and thrust in faux swordfights. Read the rest of this entry »

On February 11, 2004, family members of William LeRoy Douglas, Sr., 63, reported to the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office in Osceola that Mr. Douglas had disappeared from his rural Woodburn, Iowa residence.
Douglas was last seen at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, at his residence in the vicinity of the 3000 block of Pacific Street. (Some reports provide the time as 1:30 p.m.)
He may have been dressed in black “Carhartt” bib overalls, “Wrangler” jeans, a light green jacket and black boots. Read the rest of this entry »

Police are on the hunt for a band of hooligans who mercilessly beat up a U.S. Army soldier before robbing him as he lay on the ground.
The incident reportedly began early on Sunday morning May 6,2012 after the suspects approached Sgt Johnny Aparico, 24, in Tampa, Florida.
The sergeant, who is stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, had moved to the area less than a month ago, and was walking home at about 3:30am.
Three of the suspects can be seen walking down the street ahead of Sgt Aparico before turning the corner. Read the rest of this entry »

DALLAS – A routine mail route came to a gruesome end for one Dallas-area mail carrier, when he found the decapitated body of a woman lying in the street on April 26, 2010. Police identified her as Maria Corona, and said they believe her husband, Jose Fernando Corona, is responsible, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Responding officers from the Lewisville Police Department reported finding two chainsaws at the scene, one of which was still running, with blood and tissue matter nearby. A bloody trail led from Corona’s headless body to the doorway of the home. Read the rest of this entry »

Mysterious Houston medical student murder brings largest cash reward in CrimeStopper History..
As investigators still search for clues in the bizarre unsolved January 16, 2012 murder of Iranian-born medical student Gelareh Bagherzadeh, Houston Crime Stoppers announced at a recent afternoon press conference it will be offering a $200,000 cash reward — the largest in the national organization’s history.
Five months after the killing at a Galleria-area residential complex, sergeant J.C. Padilla of the Houston Police Department told reporters that the investigation has not turned up a motive for the shooting. COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio — The family of Gerald George Klusch has announced a reward of up to $20,000 for reliable new information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for his death.
Klusch, 71, of 37348 U.S. Route 30 disappeared on or about Sept. 29, 2011. His damaged bloody truck was found the next day. Klusch’s body was recovered in a wooded area Nov. 18 near Salineville.
He was last seen alive by his employee Matt Bailey when Klusch dropped Bailey off at his home on Dungannon Road on Sept. 29. Read the rest of this entry »

He has little memory of the shooting, but Carrizal, now a homicide investigator with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, has spent almost two years investigating a case that hits home.

HOUSTON — It’s been more than six months since an 84-year-old man, Roland “Darby” Suiter, was brutally beaten and robbed inside his home in Midtown. He is still in the hospital and the suspect or suspects who did it are still at large.

Armando Morfin has been missing since March 30, 2012 and his family is now offering a $105,000 dollar reward for his return.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies report Morgin was kidnapped at his La Blanca home on Friday, March 30th.
Three armed men dressed in military-style clothes broke into their home, tied up his family and took him away. They spoke in Spanish and did not otherwise harm the family. Read the rest of this entry »
