The NYPD is offering a $12,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the suspect who gunned down an off-duty auxiliary cop.
Francky Aleger, 40 years old, volunteered as an auxiliary police officer in Greenwich Village’s 13th Precinct but wasn’t on duty when he was found by a passerby lying on the ground, unconscious at East 95th Street and Glenwood Road in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn just after 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Calif. — Two young women were recently murdered in the Lincoln Heights area, and now the city is offering two $50,000 rewards for the arrests of those responsible.
Residents gathered together to march through the neighborhood in an effort to demonstrate their solidarity and “Take Lincoln Heights Back.”

On Saturday, October 27, 2007, Donald Farrell, III, a Rowan University student was attacked on campus by the Triad Building in Glassboro, NJ. A group of black males had approached him when he was with some friends moments earlier. Farrell was punched and kicked in the abdomen and suffered fatal trauma. The Lane Bryant shooting was an incident of mass murder and armed robbery at a Lane Bryant clothing outlet in the Brookside Marketplace in the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park, Illinois, United States, that occurred on February 2, 2008. The shooting resulted in five fatalities, and the injury of another.

SANTA CLARA – Police have convinced a Silicon Valley firm to renew its offer of a $100,000 reward for information leading to a conviction for the murder of one of its engineers.
On March 24, 1994, a 26-year-old engineer named Matthew Flores pulled his white Chevy Corsica into the parking lot of Applied Materials in Santa Clara at 8:15 a.m. ready to work.
As Flores got out of the car, he was shot execution style in the back of the head. The killing happened just beyond the view of the security cameras trained on the parking lot. Read the rest of this entry »

Rodney Ramseur, Jr. and Latia Jones — both 21 — were killed when a gunman opened fire when the two were sitting on Ramseur’s front porch in Olney, PA on Monday night, May 14, 2012.
Recently we learned from police that Ramseur testified in a murder case just last week. His family said that Ramseur was a witness to a 2010 murder and they wonder if his son was killed in retaliation for his testimony.

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA – The former wife of Iggy Pop drummer Alexander Kirst offered a $17,000 reward to find the driver of an SUV that fatally struck Kirst a year ago, a police lieutenant said today.

ROXBURY TWP (NJ). –Roxbury Township police and the Morris County New Jersy Prosecutor’s Office have issued a photograph of a man they say is a “person of interest” in the killing of the owner of the Kenvil Diner a year ago.
