Victor Bach, 71, was found beaten to death at his Western Plumbing and Heating business on Treat Avenue in San Francisco on Oct. 31, 2003 after his wife called police to say he had not arrived home in San Mateo, CA.
His expensive watch and car keys were left untouched.
Bach was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and was a registered mechanical engineer. He was a partner in Western Plumbing & Heating from 1970 until his murder.. Read the rest of this entry »

CHARLOTTE, NC – Kyle Fleischmann is arguably the most high-profile unsolved, mysterious missing person’s case in Charlotte in the past decade. The 24-year old walked out of Buckhead Saloon in Uptown Charlotte alone and drunk on November 9th, 2007, and was never seen again.
At least that’s what we all thought.

An increased reward is being offered for information about a missing Winter Park (FL) mother who vanished nearly two years ago, the police department announced recently.
Stephanie Edwards hasn’t been seen since May 24, 2010 when she left her home to meet a friend. Winter Park police and Crimeline are now offering a $10,000 reward in the case.

Relatives of a Kent woman have put up a $10,000 reward in an effort to help the Seattle Police solve her murder.
Detectives have sought the public’s help since Greggette Renee Guy, 51, was found March 12, 2012 floating in the Puget Sound offshore of West Seattle.
“It’s an active and ongoing investigation,” said Seattle Police spokesman Mark Jamison. “We understand the family has put out a reward.”
Jamieson said a reward can make a difference in solving a case.
“Sometimes people are motivated by money or the renewed interest sparks a memory,” Jamieson said.

Update: The 88-CRIME reward for information leading to an arrest in the disappearance of 6-year-old Isabel Celis is now $60,500.
A $10,000 donation from one person on Thursday brought the reward up to its present figure, said Susie Dupnik, executive director of 88-CRIME.
About 10 individuals have contributed to the fund, which totals $59,500 from private donations and $1,000 from 88-CRIME, Dupnik said.
Tucson, AZ police are winding down their search for a 6-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday, April 21, 2012.
Police Chief Roberto Villasenor said Tuesday that law enforcement expect to wrap up their intensive search for Isabel Mercedes Celis and concentrate on the investigative phase..

GREEN BAY, WI - Over Three-years ago (March 8, 2009) 19-year-old Doug McMillin was found dead in his home at 817 Longview Avenue in Allouez from gunshot wounds. Investigators soon learned that two men forced their way inside to steal cash and marijuana. A multi-jurisdictional task force investigation uncovered new information and persons of interest. But no murder suspects. Now, investigators are asking people to help out.
“There are people in the community that have direct knowledge of this incident, either being at the McMillin residence on the night of the homicide or knowledge of the murder after the fact,” said Brown County Sheriff’s Department Captain Dave Konrath. Read the rest of this entry »
